Well, well, well what an eventful week we have had with the Corona 🦠 virus COVID-19.
WE ARE OPEN AND WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL TOLD OTHERWISE. [updated 17.03.20]
Everybody has been in good spirits despite the hysteria!
We are obviously taking every precaution that we can to keep our members safe. I think that we are fortunate in the fact that it is well ventilated gym and we deliberately keep our numbers in the gym low to ensure that everybody gets the best possible coaching experience. If anything changes at all we will of course keep you updated, albeit
- First and foremost, IF YOU ARE SICK, DO NOT COME INTO THE GYM! We love you but we don't want you here right now 😊.
- If you are scheduled for a session and not feeling well, let us know ASAP and we will just reschedule for that session so you can use it when you're healthy.
- The entire team here at Tier 1 is on a mission to keep things clean. We're wiping down equipment all the time, washing and disinfecting our hands religiously, etc. We are doing everything in our power to keep the gym clean and sanitary.
- Last but not least, when you come in, please be smart - wash your hands, wipe down your equipment, etc.
With that in mind, below are 2 articles that we found which are a good read about whether you should go to the gym during this outbreak. They are American based, but I have found them very relatable and certainly worth your time checking out.
Here's what you missed on the socials this past week:
Congratulations to Tom!
A huge congratulations to our very own Tom Lancaster on his victory last night! Winning via a unanimous decision and even finding time to throw a few cheeky spinning elbows into the mix!
Well done Tom! 🥊❤️
Charity Team Training
Thank you so much for your donations to The Cube Disability at our training morning last weekend. We managed to raise £143.70 for them and they even paid us a visit to say thank you and collect their cheque 🙌🏼🙌🏼
